TechArt has given the new 911 mad wheels and much wing

There are some tuners that prefer to just slightly fettle with a car’s engine and styling in order to turn the dial up just one notch from a manufacturer’s original spec. TechArt is not one of those tuners.

You may remember it from projects such as the GTstreet RS – a bonkers 759bhp version of the old 991 iteration of 911 Turbo S. Now though, it has got its hands on the new 992...

There’s also a giant rear wing that looks like it’s floating above the car thanks to the crystal-clear supports – although if you want to be slightly more subtle you can spec a smaller spoiler that attaches to the standard car’s retractable effort. We hate to break it to you friend, but if you’ve already specced the gold wheels you ain’t being subtle.

Elsewhere you get a new rear diffuser, side skirts and a five-part front spoiler. Very nice.

Under the bonnet, TechArt offers a power upgrade that only activates in Sport or Sport Plus modes. It ups the power in either the Carrera S or 4S from the standard 450bhp to a hefty 503bhp, and torque shoots up to 450lb ft. There’s also a new sports exhaust to make things nice and noisy.

The interior doesn’t escape the TechArt treatment either, although the re-trimmed leather/wool seats and doors actually look extremely inviting – and not only because you won’t have to look at those wheels once you’re inside.
