This Swiss tuner will give your new M240i more power than an M2 CS

Just picked up a new BMW M240i and already wishing you’d waited for the next BMW M2? Well don’t fret, because Swiss tuning firm Dahler is here to grant your horsepower-filled wishes.

Specifically, 449 wishes, because it has developed a ‘Stage 2’ upgrade package for the G42 that gives the coupe 449bhp and 472lb ft of torque – or in other words, more power than the outgoing M2 CS. Should be enough.

To match the extra poke, Dahler will also fit lower adjustable suspension and a new stainless steel exhaust system. And then there’s those wheels. We’re sure you’ll have opinions on the 20-inch forged items you see in the images above. Look suspiciously like E60 M5 wheels though, don’t they?

Would Dahler’s upgrades convince you to go for an M240i rather than waiting for the full-fat M2?
