Someone has built a 740bhp Audi TT RS, and we’re quite scared

Yes, this second-gen TT is packing Lamborghini Aventador SV power

Published: 20 Nov 2015

The Lamborghini Aventador SV uses 6.5 litres of naturally aspirated V12 to achieve 740 horsepowers. This modified Audi TT RS does it using 2.5 litres of turbocharged WITCHCRAFT.

You're looking at H Performance’s vision of what the second-generation Audi TT RS is capable of, proving that the unbreakable five-pot turbo so famously utilised by Audi is indeed, quite unbreakable.

Naturally, the original turbo was swapped out by something capable of delivering said 740 horses – a GTX-35 turbo, we’re told – together with H Performance’s own exhaust manifold, larger intake tubing, intercooler and exhaust system.

The fuel pump is fatter, delivering more fuel into ‘optimised’ fuel lines, the injectors have been upgraded, as too have the brakes (sensible move, we'd say). The TT is now stopped by none other than the R8’s ceramic brakes.

A new ECU somehow manages to make everything stick together, while elsewhere there are gold wheels and a nickname of ‘Black Hawk’.

740bhp. Though there is no word on a 0-62mph time or indeed, top speed, expect both to be quite mighty. Done with your TT hairdresser jibes yet?
