RUF launches driver training course

Published: 24 Jul 2013

If you own a RUF-tuned Porsche, the company has decided that it might be a good idea for you to go on one of its special safety driver training courses at the Salzburgring, Austria.

Which is probably a good idea. Because it sells a 630bhp, 205mph 911 Turbo, a 550bhp V8-powered 911, and the bonkers 750bhp, 229mph CTR Clubsport.

This news also serves as a perfectly legimitate excuse to watch the 500+bhp 911 CTR ‘Yellow Bird' lapping the Nürburgring in 1987. Because it was the eighties, there were certain stylistic requirements, like white socks, stonewashed denim, and lots and lots and lots of tyre smoke.

Is this the greatest car viral in the world, TopGear.commers?
