Novitec’s Ferrari F8 Spider is a little bit angry
Probably because it’s now forced to get to 62mph in 2.6 seconds
It’s not often we cover tastefully modified cars on these pages. There just aren’t that many around these days, are there?
Novitec’s new Ferrari F8 Spider may be the exception, though. The extra carbon bits (front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, small rear spoiler, new wing mirrors etc) are all rather lovely and are mostly hidden by the black paint, whilst the 21-/22-inch forged wheels look mega in gold. The end result is just a slightly more aggressive F8. Nice.
The 3.9-litre twin turbo V8 is definitely angry, though. Novitec fits a new ECU and a gold-plated Inconel exhaust to up power to a frankly terrifying 791bhp. The result is 0-62mph in just 2.6 seconds (0.3 seconds quicker than standard) and a top speed somewhere north of 211mph.
Reckon the German tuners have done the business?
