This is Japanese tuner Office-K's Rolls Wraith, and it is very gold

Britain's glorious fastback gains much bling, loses much class

Published: 13 Nov 2015

If there’s one problem with the otherwise splendid Rolls Royce Wraith, it’s that it just doesn’t have enough gold trim. Or big enough wheels. Thankfully, Japanese tuning house Office-K has remedied these issues with its latest, erm, thing.

The basis is a Wraith kit from Wald, which it calls the ‘Sports Line Black Bison Edition’. Catchy. To complete the look, Office-K has added truly vast 24-inch wheels – in gold, because obviously – and the lowest-profile tyres we’ve seen for some time.

Beyond the wheels, there’s a golden grille, golden window trims, exhaust tips and golden door handles. Not forgetting the golden diffuser which is absolutely aerodynamically necessary. Honest.

What of the engine? No idea. It could have 1000bhp for all we know, or can decipher from Office-K’s website. It does claim the Wraith has a ‘Miracle exhaust’, which we suspect makes for a very un-Rolls-Royce-y noise. So much for subtlety.
