Hennessey has built a massive 775bhp lifted Ford F-150
Hennessey does what Hennessey does best – it’s a 775bhp F-150 that’ll do 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds
Large, isn’t it? The standard double-cab Ford F-150 already looks rather massive to our untrained pickup eyes here in Blighty, but Hennessey has done its best to take it up another notch. Welcome to the new, supercharged Hennessey Venom 775 F-150.
Hennessey has attached a giant 3.0-litre twin-screw supercharger to the F-150’s 5.0-litre V8 (which makes a not insignificant 400bhp and 410lb ft of torque in its standard form). The result is a bonkers 775bhp and 685lb ft of torque, and a ridiculous 0-60mph time of 3.9 seconds.
It should manage that on just about any surface too, thanks to a six-inch lift kit, 20-inch wheels and hefty 35-inch off-road tyres. There’s also new front and rear bumpers and the all-important lightbar. Everything should have a lightbar.
Just 100 examples of the Venom 775 will be built, and Hennessey is keen to point out that the F-150 can still be put into RWD mode. We can’t for the life of us imagine why…
