Crikey: it's Novitec Rosso's 770bhp Ferrari F12

German tuner takes Ferrari F12, makes it really wide, gives it all the power

Published: 27 Apr 2016

Crikey indeed. The Novitec Rosso N-Largo is what happens when you add substantial amounts of bodywork and power to a regular Ferrari F12. The N-Largo S is what happens when you add yet more bodywork.

Power first. A regular F12 makes 730bhp from its 6.3-litre V12. The N-Largo S has, erm, more. 770bhp, in fact, at a howling 8,600rpm. Its 0-62mph time is three seconds flat, and five seconds later, you’re sailing past 124mph on your way to a mighty 217mph top speed. This is thanks to new mapping for the injection and ignition systems, plus a new exhaust that promises much loudness.

Elsewhere, the N-Largo S is some 14cm wider than a regular F12 (and 3cm wider than a ‘normal’ N-Largo), which makes it roughly the width of an average British road. Possibly.

All the extra bits of bodywork are made of carbon, and Novitec promises they improve the aerodynamic profile of the standard car. As will the 40mm suspension drop, no doubt.

The wheels are 21s at the front and 22s at the rear, shod with 255 and 335 section Pirellis respectively.

The German tuner will only build 11 of these things, and for an undisclosed sum. We suspect lots.

Of the many tuned Ferraris we’ve seen through the years, this is one we actually quite like. Should we be embarrassed?
