Check out SpeedKore’s 1,500bhp carbon-bodied Chrysler Pacifica minivan
Family minivan gets the supercharged 6.2-litre V8 from a Dodge Demon. The kids might need some sick bags
Need to get the kids to school on time? This should help. It’s a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica minivan that has been lightly modified by the team at SpeedKore. And yes, they are the folks that built a carbon bodied, mid-engined Dodge Charger.
And when we say lightly modified, what we really mean is ‘totally and utterly transformed and lightly unhinged’. Because this Pacifica gets a full carbon body that’s the work of Abimelec Design, and underneath there’s a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 from a Dodge Demon.
And yet, the standard engine was clearly not enough for SpeedKore, because it has treated it to something that it calls the ‘Lilith Package’. Named after the mother of demons, the package ups the Hemi to a frankly terrifying 1,493bhp and pairs it with an eight-speed ZF auto gearbox.
Thanks to the plentiful use of carbon fibre and some further weight saving, we’re told that this Pacifica is a full 454kg lighter than standard, and that it has been designed for “setting lap records, roasting tyres and putting a pep in your step". We’re quite sure it’d manage the latter.
Oh, and then there’s the name. Because SpeedKore is calling this the Chrysler Pacifica Baba Yaga. Baba Yaga is a witch in Slavic folklore who is best known for kidnapping and eating children. And John Wick's nickname. Yikes…
