Bentley’s 1,000th Mulliner project is a very purple Bentayga
Complete with a rather unique and wood-filled interior…
Bentley set up its dedicated Mulliner Design team seven years ago now, and it has just completed its 1,000th commission.
And lucky number 1,000 is a very purple Bentayga with a bespoke interior. Apparently the project was for a European customer that wanted Olive Ash veneer from the Mulsanne (and lots of it) on the dashboard, doors and centre consoles, as well as a contrasting purple twin stitch on the seats and the door cards. Not bad, all things considered…
The Flying Spur you see above was the first of Mulliner Design’s modern-day creations, with 15 examples of the so-called Serenity edition built in 2014. So, where next for Bentley’s bespoke and personalised vehicles department?
