Maserati has announced a host of revisions to its best-selling model in the UK, the GranTurismo S Automatic.
The Sport pack gives the GT the 'super-fast' MC Auto Shift software for the gearbox, body coloured side skirts and front winglets, a black grille featuring the Trident logo with red accents, black mesh side grilles, an integrated rear boot lid spoiler, 'Grigio Mercury Neptune' alloy wheels and oval exhaust pipes.
Speaking of the GT's pipes, Maserati has also fitted a new exhaust system that forces the bypass valves fully open in 'Sport' mode "to provide an even richer sound". This adheres to our recent thesis titled Top Gear's Totally Unscientific But Actually Quite Smashing Theory On Making Cars Better Volume 1: NOISE.
