Listen to over 230 rotary cars rev it out on track
Plug in your headphones and let a Wankel conga line be the soundtrack to your day
Rotary fans, clear your diary for five minutes. This could get messy.
It’s a video from something called the Rotary Reunion: one of the largest rotary events in the southern hemisphere. See, they like their pistonless engines Down Under, and hold dedicated festivals for them so likeminded Wankelers can stand in a field and talk about oil consumption while other rotary cars pound around the Bruce McLaren Motorsports Park and toast rear tyres until sunset.
If you want to get a sense of scale, press play on the video above to see all of the rotary cars from past and present brap around in a power-to-the-pistonless parade. Bonus points if you can name all the cars. Go on, we dare you.
