Photo of the day: Le Mans Class of 2016
180 drivers line up prior to this weekend’s 24-hour race
We’ve seen the cars, now meet the drivers. All 180 of them.
With scrutineering now complete, the teams are entering the final stages of their preparations for the 24-hour race, which starts on Saturday at the traditional time of 3pm at Circuit de La Sarthe.
Free practice and qualifying begins tomorrow, giving the drivers one last day to enjoy the frivolities before the job of racing properly takes over at Le Mans.
Yes, there were a few unfortunate blinks. And no, not everyone was looking at the camera. And granted, not everyone could see past the person in front them. But still, one for the album, right?
TopGear.com will be covering Le Mans a lot more over the next few days. Stay tuned, folks!
