Lamborghini Reventon news - Bargain hunt - 2009

Published: 27 Jan 2009

Some people get bored way too easily. People like the owner of this super-rare Lambo Reventon who, after just 75 miles in his new toy, has had enough fun and decided to sell it. Either that, or the credit crunch has started to eat into the high-end supercar market. We suspect the latter.

Only twenty of the cars were made, most of which disappeared into a blackhole of megarich existence, to be hidden in humidity-controlled secret bunkers manned by men with AK47s and snarling Rockweilers. Except this one, which ended up in a Californian supercar dealership.

Based on a Murcielago LP640, the Reventon has the same 6.5-litre, 641bhp V12, except it’s wrapped in bodywork inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter-jet. That theme continues inside, with a jet fighter-inspired display with a G-Force metre. Handy, on the M25.

So if you’re in the market for a million quid supercar, you’re in luck. Looks like the car only has 73 miles on the clock and just the one careful (we think) owner. And the good news is that the dealer offers finance deals. In your face, credit crunch.

If this sounds up your street, then why don't you make them an offer?
