Lamborghini Miura news - Lambo revives a Sixties icon - 2006
If your vision seems to go all wavy like a scene from an Austin Powers movie, you could be forgiven for thinking you'd slipped back to the 1960s when looking at Lamborghini's latest concept car.
The Miura concept car is a slickly updated iteration of Lamborghini's Sixties supercar, which was the world's first supercar to use a transversely mounted V12 engine.
Just as Ford plundered its heritage for its GT supercar, the Miura is more of an update for the Noughties, where every detail has been redesigned while retaining the look of the original.
Lamborghini will show the Miura concept at the Detroit motor show and is keeping quiet about whether or not the car will make it into production.
