Dacia reveals Duster Adventure edition

Published: 08 Mar 2013

While we were reduced to a state of pure gawp by the supercars at this year's Geneva motor show, Dacia craftily whipped the covers off this - a sort of un-pimped, but also somehow pimped version of its frugal off-roader.

It's called the Adventure, it's a limited edition, and you can chose from two exterior colours (black and white). There's also a set of brilliantly utilitarian 16-inch black steelies, two roofbar-mounted spotlights, front and rear skidpads, red arrows marking the tow and jacking points, and side protection with Duster markings. Inside, it's got some questionable logos on the seats and a waterproof Garmin satnav system and thick plastic floor mats.

It'll go on sale in more than 16 countries from April 2013, and you can buy it as a FWD or AWD. There's no word on pricing yet, but a normal front-drive Duster is available at the freakishly reasonable price of £8,995, and the AWD version starts at just under 11 grand, making it the UK's cheapest 4x4 by far.
