Jaguar C-Type Coupe news - C-ing is believing - 2007
This C-Type Coupe looks like a barn find prototype that Jaguar experimented with in the 1950s.
The only thing is, Jaguar never built a coupe version of the C-Type, so replica builder Proteus has come up with one.
Looking every inch the classic road racing machine, the Proteus C-Type Coupe will be unveiled at this weekend's International Historic Motorsport Show at Stoneleigh Park.
The car on display will be a half-scale model, but the company says that if public reaction is positive, it will add the Coupe to its existing open-top C-Type replica range.
The show will also mark the launch of Proteus under its new owner Enduro, which has also built C-Type replicas.
Now, Proteus will concentrate on building the cars, and Enduro on supplying parts.
