It's a Bugatti Veyron in Gulf livery!

Typical. You leave your precious, million-pound Bugatti Veyron outside on the street and some ‘yoof' comes along and daubs it in spray paint. ‘Broken Britain' and all that, eh?

Err, not quite. Not unless these feral paint peddlers have an innate appreciation for the Aston Martin LMP1 and Porsche 917s of yore; iconic cars liveried in the blue and orange of Gulf oil. No, this could only be the work of one particular artist, Mr Ian Cook of PopBang Colour - the gentleman who makes messy automotive art with radio controlled cars, car tyres and toy wheels.

To celebrate the launch of the Wilton House Supercar and Classic show this weekend, he and Lord Pembroke mulled over the idea of doing something interesting with his Bugatti Veyron. The artwork on the bonnet is a reference to the Bugatti logo - which has now become a big fat splat of paint - and the whole thing was wrapped with both the Porsche and Aston featuring on the Bug's flanks. You have to admit, it's quite striking, no?
