If Top Gear did caravanning (again)
We thought we'd cracked the nuisance of caravanning in Britain. May tried to prove that they could go really, really fast. Then he tried to quite literally remove them from our roads. And, exhausted by the challenge, the boys even had a go at going on holiday in one.
But, for all this time, the solution's been hiding in history.
A TopGear.commer from Peoria, USA, has just sent us this gnarled image of road, caravan and car in perfect harmony.
Details are scant, but we reckon the Formula 5000 Lola tow car's from around 1969. Presumably, the image is too.
If you know more - or would like to estimate the girth of the driver's moustache - please let us know in the handy rectangle below.
