This is the Hyundai Vision T concept. And yes, calling a car that looks to the future ‘Vision’ is square number one in concept car bingo. But let’s see how many tropes we can extract from just one concept car press release, shall we?

If anyone had ‘global design language’, mark one off. Same goes for ‘innovative solutions’, ‘emotional value’, ‘product experience’ and ‘plug-in hybrid powertrain’. And we’re not even clear of the first paragraph yet.

How about ‘eco-lifestyle focus’, ‘dynamism’ or ‘urban adventurer’? Yep, we can see a few of you excitedly shuffling in your seats already – you must be close to bingo. 

OK, next up is ‘sleek silhouette’. No one had that one? Oh. How about ‘transcendent connectivity’? Yeah, that one was a reach. Ah, here’s one: ‘optimising aerodynamics’. Aha, yes! We definitely heard someone say bingo. And your prize, a ‘World’s Biggest Cynic’ coffee mug, is already en route.
