Great Scott! 16 Deloreans in one place
Owners of classic/rubbish '80s icon converge in California for charity
This isn't the largest gathering of DMC DeLoreans in the history of Earth. But it is a considerable chunk of metal that once proudly trumpeted Northern Ireland's motoring industry, and now stands as a testament to how awesome the 80s really were. In the movies, of course.
Last weekend, 16 DMC DeLorean owners decided to team up at the 'Cruisin For A Cure' charity event in Orange County, California (no, not cruising), to remind the world what the DeLorean is all about. In case you were unaware, it is all about Back To The Future.
So, without further ado, don your favourite Nike Mag high-tops, sleeveless puffa jacket and hoverboard, and prepare to kindle a loving friendship with a lonely, crazy and quite intelligent Man of Science. Don't laugh, it was acceptable in the 80s...

"Calm down, Marty, I didn't disintegrate anything. The molecular structure of both Einstein and the car are completely intact."
"I guess you guys aren't ready for that, yet. But your kids are gonna love it."
"Doc, we better back up. We don't have enough road to get up to 88..."
"Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads."
