Ferrari drops another ‘new 599’ teaser

Hundreds of thousands of you watched the first one. And now this: another short, promotional teaser video for the new Ferrari 599. Just five days remain before the highly anticipated supercar breaks cover, and Ferrari is drip-feeding us tiny, tiny nuggets of its inception to fizz our respective roots.

Viewing it straight, you'll probably learn nothing new over what we told you last year; that the new Ferrari supercar will use very posh aluminium for the frame, that it will be lighter than the current 599 (which weighs 1,690kg) and that some carbon fibre will exist, probably for external panels.

This frame - snapped naked in its dressing room by a peeping Ferrari - will also house a new V12 packing somewhere in the region of 700bhp. So where the current 599 does 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and tops out at 205mph, this new model will go faster.
