Is Aston Martin planning a surprise model for Geneva?

Aston brings one of the world's best toy-boxes to Swiss motor show

Published: 26 Feb 2018

What a toybox. Aston has revealed its model line-up for next month's Geneva Motor Show, with - potentially - a bit of a surprise guest.

“It’s always a proud moment to see the fruits of the company’s efforts on show in one place, but this year’s Geneva Show promises to be extra special," explains Aston boss Andy Palmer.

“Who knows, we may even have one or two surprises in store,” he added. Hmm…

Even without the 'one or two surprises', Aston's toybox is an enviable one. First up is the all-new Vantage, revealed in full and making its motor show debut. The Vantage is Aston’s brand new, twin-turbo V8 coupe, utilising Merc-AMG engine power and Aston’s chassis trickery into one punchy not-so-little package. Read the full story here.

Then come the two DB11s – Coupe and Volante – being shown off for the first time together. Will this display of the big-hearted siblings result in harmony or a massive, V12-powered fight? We’ll find out next month. In the meantime, read our reviews of both cars here and here.

There’s slightly faster machinery on hand too: the Vantage GTE racer built to charge around the World Endurance Championship (including Le Mans), and Aston Martin Red Bull’s new F1 car, wearing its 2018 livery.
