It's our first look at the new Hyundai i30N
Hyundai's hot hatch will get a makeover along with more sensible versions
Welcome to our first glimpse of the updated Hyundai i30N hot hatch, with its more aggressive grille and new “V-shaped integrated Daytime Running Lights”.
Now, it’s not actually the new i30N. This sketch reveals what the stock i30 will look like with its N-Line styling pack. But given how closely the N and N-Line currently resemble each other, it’s safe to assume that the next i30N will look a lot like this. Just with baby blue paint and red detailing.
Those new DRLs are the big change visible here – we’ve added a picture of the current i30N to show just how unintegrated its DRLs are – but we’re promised many more changes by the time the finished thing is declothed in Geneva.
Newly digital dials. A larger media screen. A wealth of fresh alloy wheel designs. It’s all typical facelift fare, but of a car we really quite like. More from Geneva in early March…
