You can now own the Pininfarina Battista hyper GT in Forza Horizon 5
The 1,873bhp hypercar joins as part of its ‘European Automotive Car Pack’, and won’t be rinsed at all by tryhards
Gamers rejoice! The Pininfarina Battista is coming to Forza Horizon 5 as part of its ‘European Automotive Car Pack’ extension, and (likely) slotting in as one of the game’s most annoyingly overpowered cars from the off.
Production for Italy’s most powerful contribution yet to the increasingly numbers-heavy electric performance car game started back in 2022, with less than 150 units penned in at a minimum price of two million pounds each.
Exclusivity aside, you get an awful lot of speed for your virtual coin: 1,873bhp and 1,726lb ft of torque, courtesy of a quartet of electric motors and a 120kWh battery pack. Not bad for a firm known primarily for styling cars (let’s ignore the Hyundai Lavita).
In Horizon 5, you’ll be able to take the already silly EV through a full Pimp My Ride conversion, with a variety of body kits and performance enhancements (as if they’re needed) on tap to help you put those five-million-horsepower Volvo 850Rs and Ford Crown Victorias in their place
Dave Amantea, the chief design officer of Automobili Pininfarina, commented: “We work closely with clients individually to ensure every Battista is a unique expression of their personality – and a true one of one. By joining Forza Horizon 5, we’re enabling enthusiasts across the world the chance to create a Battista that reflects their own tastes using an endless choice of options – just like we do in the real world.”
Excited, racers?
