Introducing the Top Gear Gaming Show

TG meets videogames, nonsense ensues

If you're both a car fanatic and a gamer, you'll know that driving games allow you to live out your most lavish automotive fantasies: winning the Monaco Grand Prix, collecting an R32 Skyline in every factory colour or simply driving a Bugatti Chiron without having to raffle off a major organ. With that in mind, we thought it was high time for a Top Gear gaming show. So we made one. It's called the Top Gear Gaming Show.

Celebrating the glorious union between cars and games, every Friday for the next 10 weeks the Top Gear Gaming Show - hosted by Julia Hardy and TG's own videogame opinion-haver Mike Channell - will be debuting on the Top Gear Facebook page. There'll be iconic cars, gaming challenges and we'll be subjecting all of our guests to Star in a Reasonably Still Car: an entirely digital fast lap around the Top Gear Test Track in our resolutely stationary sim rig.

The first episode of TGGS is available to watch right now and features the game Watch Dogs Legion, with a black cab race across a dystopian, futuristic London that looks considerably less dystopian after the last year or so, if we're honest...
