In this month's issue of Top Gear magazine, The Stig brings together 18 contenders for the ultimate, dog eat dog fight club.
Topping the bill are the performance cage fighters, with the brilliant Porsche 911 GT3 RS, savage Lamborghini Aventador SV and sublime McLaren 675LT clashing heads.
That’s closely followed by a tussle at the TG track between the BMW i8, Jaguar F-Type Coupe and Porsche 911 Carrera. Stuttgart’s finest has never had it tougher.
We’ve also headed across the pond for an American muscle showdown, with the Corvette Stingray Z06, Ford Mustang GT350R and Dodge Viper ACR fighting it out on two racetracks over 24 hours.
In our retro battles, the new Aston Martin four-door Lagonda Taraf takes on its wedgy ancestor from the Eighties. The Abarth 695 BiPosto, meanwhile, meets some Italian rally legends in the form of the Fiat 131 Abarth, 124 Spider, Lancia Beta Coupe and ex-Sandro Munari Lancia Stratos.
