Uber’s teaming up with NASA to build a flying car by 2020
Which’ll definitely, absolutely, totally happen this time
That’s right – apparently, Uber has enlisted none other than NASA to help develop Uber’s putative aerial ride-sharing fleet. NASA, it seems, will work on a traffic control system to keep the “tens of thousands” of daily flights in safe airspace and out of the six o’clock news. Or, let’s be honest, Twitter feed.
But, as the often misquoted saying goes, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. We have every faith in NASA, but next to zero in the ability of humanity to mandate, create and legislate a flying car fleet.
And absolutely none for anyone who says “the proof is in the pudding.”
