The Drive to Survive Season 6 teaser trailer has dropped

Fly-on-the-wall docu-series returns Friday, featuring Guenther Steiner, Bottas’s mullet and Deadpool himself…

Published: 21 Feb 2024

Set your reminders folks: Drive to Survive Season 6 lands in its entirety on Netflix on Friday, and the teaser trailer has been revealed to give us a flavour of what to expect from the new tranche of episodes.

It sure looks like business as usual: Guenther Steiner uses some fruity language, casual office conversations are set to a dramatic, cinema-rivalling music, the highs and lows of F1 are interspersed with gripping race footage… etcetera, etcetera.

Lawrence Stroll even manages to claim that he’ll turn Aston Martin into the best F1 team in the world with an entirely straight face. Impressive.

Meanwhile, it looks like there’s some interesting behind-the-scenes stuff from the mid-season test that led to Daniel Ricciardo’s shock return to the sport, plus Otmar Szafnauer’s perspective in the run up to his (and half of Alpine’s) brutal sacking.

Finally, we get a brief appearance from Ryan Reynolds, who lest we forget is an Alpine F1 team co-owner as of last summer. Wonder if Esteban Ocon will get a cameo in Deadpool 3?

Enough talk. Check out the trailer - including Steiner's unique repertoire of colourful words - by clicking on this here hyperlink.
