First pic: the new Rolls-Royce Wraith

Published: 22 Jan 2013

Last week Rolls-Royce politely and eloquently informed us that it was building a new model, and that this model would "draw superlatives" upon its Geneva Motor Show unveil.

And in typical Top Gear fashion, all we read were the words "most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine." In our heads, those words were capitalised. Shouty.

Of course, Rolls would never be so uncouth, and has preferred to reveal its new Wraith by way of teaser. So as mentioned, last week we got a very cool but very unhelpful Spirit of Ecstasy figurine in smoke. Today, we get the profile image above.

And that's it. As you can quite clearly see, it's a two-door coupe, and Rolls-Royce tells us this "graceful silhouette" and those "flowing lines" will showcase some rather awesome firepower underneath. We're guessing something V12-shaped, packing around 6.6-litres and producing over 560bhp. Nice.

We'll bring you more information as soon as word reaches our ears. Until then, why not regale us with your innermost thoughts on the upcoming Rolls-Royce Wraith below...
