Ooft, the top spec Lexus LM will cost £112,995 in the UK
Uber-fancy people carrier will cost more than the V8-engined Lexus LC 500 when it arrives on our shores
Remember back in April we brought you news of the Lexus LM – a new flagship MPV that Lexus confirmed was coming to the UK and Europe? Who are we kidding, of course you remember.
Anyway, Lexus has now revealed pricing for said LM, and they really weren’t lying about it being a flagship. You may want to sit down for this. The entry level LM 350h in front-wheel drive form will cost £89,995. If you want that with all-wheel drive it’s £92,995, or for the top spec LM 350h Takumi (again with all-wheel drive) you’ll need to fork out £112,995. Yep, that’s over £110k for a posh minivan.
We really do like the look of the LM though. Well, the exterior styling is a little challenging, but as a concept the whole thing sounds excellent. You get way more space inside than any equivalent SUV, and apparently the inspiration was the 1990s LS saloon, so it should be fantastically wafty.
All those 350h versions get a hybridised 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 247bhp, and we’re told that the fancy Takumi trim adds – wait for it – a 48-inch widescreen monitor for rear seat passengers.
So, if you’re ready to drop £100k on an MPV, why not click these blue words to read our full story on the LM.
