It's the 'new' Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Alfa gives the frequently-facelifted Giulietta a new nose for 2016
Days after Volvo gave us its deliciously Scandinavian refreshed V40, Alfa has treated its own niche hatchback to a set of new headlights.
It’s not just the headlights Alfa’s changed. There’s a new honeycomb grille, black (or red) bumper inserts and revised exhaust tips. Alfa says all of these exterior mods emphasise “the Giulietta's close genetic links with the new Giulia”. The resemblance isn’t immediately obvious, so we’ll take Alfa’s word for it…
Inside there’s some new upholstery and a better infotainment system with something called ‘Alfa Performance’, which apparently gives you access to a load of timers and gauges, plus gives you tips on how to drive properly.
Oh, and another thing. The hot Quadrifoglio Verde has, with the rest of available trims, had its name changed. Veloce is the hot one now, with Super, Tecnica and Speciale making up the numbers.
Great, Alfa. Now get a move on with that Giulia…
