This is a drawing of the new Merc C-Class Cabrio

First design sketch of upcoming Benz cabrio revealed ahead of Geneva

Published: 12 Feb 2016

People of the Internet, what we have here is a drawing. More specifically, a drawing of the brand new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet.

Set for a Geneva Motor Show reveal, Mercedes has furnished us with precisely zero details, so what follows is merely informed speculation. But seeing as it’s a convertible version of an existing car, not a new model in its own right, we think it’s reasonable to assume it’ll be available with the same set of engines. For us Brits, that means a 2.1-litre diesel in a couple of states of tune. With any luck, there might even be an AMG version on the horizon, complete with 4.0-litre V8, RWD and all the smokey burnouts you can eat.

More details as we have them, but for now, let’s just admire Merc’s penmanship.
