Check out this nine-seater ultra-lux Mercedes Sprinter-based swaggerwagon

Clive Sutton's bespoke van conversion makes ‘Pimp My Ride’ look like a basic paintjob

Published: 04 Jan 2024

Clive Sutton – the dealer and conversion house behind the most powerful Mustang and this monster Shelby Truck – has revealed its latest creation. Behold, an ultra-luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van-turned-bus seemingly perfect for the Taylor Swifts of this world.

Almost two metres of standing headroom and a vast near-eight square metres of rear capacity mean cow-covered seats, two 40in 4k screens, on-board fridges, privacy glass and a surround sound cinema audio system come as standard in this modified delivery van.

Fully bespoke, the cavernous 15,000 litres of capacity can be configured with up to nine seats. Or, Sutton tells us, there’s the option to fit the VIP Class Sprinter out as a full-sized mobile changing room. Seems like Swift could bring her entire tour wardrobe with her as well, then.

The VIP Class Sprinter’s optional extras include a washroom with a hand basin and flushing toilet, panoramic glass roof, mood lighting, heated seats and high-powered air con. What more could you possibly need?

The Sprinter has been a solid go-to as a posh minibus for a while, accommodating up to 20 in less fancy versions. Though Sutton doesn’t go into too much detail about the driving features of the thing, with as many as 1,700 Mercedes-Benz factory variants (and more to come), we’re pretty sure this built-to-order project will accommodate any whimsy your imagination can whip up, and your wallet, can bear. To the latter point: prices start from £180,000 plus tax.

Clive Sutton, boss of Sutton Bespoke, said: “Our customers demand the absolute pinnacle of luxury, refinement, comfort, and practicality, so we’ve pulled out all the stops to make our 2024 VIP Class Mercedes-Benz Sprinter the most luxurious, spacious, and stylish way to transport up to nine people in absolute comfort.”
