Alfa Romeo has a new trim level, and the gold wheels are just to die for

Alfa Romeo has unveiled a new 'Intensa' range-topping trim with more tech and bigger price tags

Published: 01 Apr 2025

Alfa Romeo has released a new range-topping 'Intensa' trim level for every model in its portfolio, and we're a bit in love with the gold teledial alloys that come with it. Wheelie we are (oh, don't cringe... wheel jokes never get tyred - bah dum tss).

Anyway, the tasteful teledials are diamond-cut and coordinate with gold accents on gloss black bodykits for each model. The Junior sits on 18in wheels, which grow to 19in on the Giulia and 20in on both the Stelvio and Tonale.

Inside, there’s a fair bit of Alcantara and/or leather available, plus tan stitching and fancy embossed logos on the seats. There's also a Harman Kardon audio suite, LED Matrix lights, adaptive cruise control, a voice-controlled connected navigation and more driver assist features. Oh, and the Tonale, the Giulia and the Stelvio all get adaptive suspension too.

The Junior Intensa in hybrid guise won’t be out until later in the year, but for everything else, the order books are open. Pricing starts from £38,905 for the Junior Elettrica Intensa, climbing to £59,800 for the Stelvio Intensa. Anyway, back to those wheels...
