Quick! Tesla is offering free Supercharging for today only

Yup, you read that right: charging at any of Tesla’s Supercharging stations in Europe is free for one day only.

Announced without warning this morning, the giveaway marks the 10th anniversary of the first Superchargers coming online on the continent; a batch of half a dozen in Norway, before you ask.

Since then the network has grown to over 1,000 sites and more than 13,000 individual Superchargers positioned across the continent.

Oh, and the offer is open to all non-Tesla drivers as well, provided of course that the station is already one of those selected to cater to everyone and not just the Model S, Model X, Model 3 and Model Y.

Last week Tesla opened its first ‘future-proofed’ V4 Superchargers in the UK, promising 250kW charging speeds and contactless payments as per the law.
