The first 440-mile Fisker Ocean EV has been delivered
Danish buyer takes delivery of their new SUV. Could travel to Oslo on a single charge
Fisker has delivered its very first Ocean SUV to a customer in Denmark, with the firm’s eponymous boss Henrik handing over the keys in person.
Now, that may not seem all that exciting at first glance, but we’re rather interested in the Ocean given that it claims (in this launch edition Ocean One spec) a range of 440 miles and a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds. Impressive stats to say the least.
That range comes courtesy of a 113kWh battery, while the acceleration is thanks to a twin motor, all-wheel drive powertrain and a maximum of 556bhp.
The first customer collected their car in Copenhagen having specced ‘Great White’ exterior paint and an equally bright ‘Sea Salt’ interior with white Alcantara seats. Hope they aren’t dog owners.
The launch edition One also comes with a number of options included, like the 17.1-inch swivelling touchscreen and the SolarSky roof that can apparently add up to 1,500 miles of range per year if you’re parking outside in California. We’re not sure what it’ll add in Copenhagen, but it may not be quite as successful.
Still, we’re looking forward to our first drive…
