Drag Festival news - A weekend in drag - 2008

Because this weekend, we're going drag racing.

And you should too.

It's the finals of the FIA European Drag Racing Championships at Santa Pod, see. Which means there'll be a lot of blokes, going very quickly in a straight line.

Think 300mph in about four seconds.

And that's just the Top Fuel class, where Britain's Andy Carter is within nibbling distance of a record third championship.

So that's why we're going down there, 'cos he's bummin' fast and we like fast Brits.

There'll be other stuff like monster truck demos, jet bikes, funny cars and Ronnie Picardo's wheelie truck too, but we're going for Carter.
