This wild Suzuki concept was designed by students

Crikey, this is a bit of a departure for modern-day Suzuki cars isn’t it? Welcome, Internet, to the really rather lovely Misano speedster concept.

There’s a whole lot going on here. The Misano apparently combines the “adrenaline rush of two wheels with the driving experience of four” – hence the tandem seating position with the passenger sat behind the driver on the left-hand side of the car.

Before you get your hopes up though, this thing will never make production. Ever. It’s actually the result of a project by 24 Masters students at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. Give them all a First!

It’s been built in collaboration with OZ Racing, Pirelli and of course Suzuki. It’s properly small too, at just over 4m long and 1m high. Cupra might have something to say about that colour combo though.

There’s no word on what would power the Misano in the real world, so how about we suggest the engine from Suzuki’s GSX-RR MotoGP competitor? That would make it fairly spiky, especially considering there’s apparently a joystick-style steering setup.
