Stile Bertone Project M news - Project Mmmmmm... - 2009

Published: 10 Mar 2009

You may remember a few months ago that Top Gear’s US site had an exclusive interview with revered designer Jason Castriota, who’d just started as design director at Stile Bertone.

Castriota has worked on some awesome cars over he’s relatively short career, one of the most stunning being the one-off Ferrari P4/5 (which you can see above) that he designed while at Pininfarina.

More details are slowly emerging about his new work at Bertone - codenamed Project M - via a dedicated website, where you can vote on its name, speculate what it’s going to look like and generally get pretty immersed in the project.

Bertone is keeping much of it under wraps, closely guarding what it will look like, but Castriota has revealed it’s a ‘one-off street legal supercar,’ which frankly is enough to pique our interest.

The Project M site is also posting YouTube clips to keep you updated, and it’s running a Twitter page via which you can chat to other interested individuals about it.

The Bertone supercar will be making its first appearance at the Shanghai motor show in April.
