Could Bugatti’s Veyron successor look like this?
Answer: we hope so. Designer cooks up stunning coupe version of the Gran Turismo racer
This is called the Bugatti ‘Type-6 GT Vision’. It’s not official, nor is it real, nor indicative of any car that Bugatti is likely to make in this or any other universe.
It is a speculative render from a chap called Alex Imnadze – the same designer who cooked up a gorgeous Maserati Bora concept a while back. After seeing pictures of Bugatti’s official Vision Gran Turismo race car last week, he put mouse to Photoshop and sketched out a road-going version.
You have to admit, the boy’s got skills, no? There’s a refined front end from the Vision GT concept, with the familiar Veyron rear-three-quarters and a very smooth, sloping silhouette. Lovely.
While this isn’t real, Bugatti will actually build a proper full-size model of its Vision GT race car, which we’ll see at Frankfurt next week.
Reckon they should do Alex a favour and build one of these, too? And what, in an ideal world, would power it? 8.0-litre W16 with added hybrid power, for a sensible output of, ooh, 2000bhp or so?
