Building LEGO's Technic Ducati Panigale is your new weekend plan
LEGO and Ducati have teamed up to offer this mean-looking V4 R
So, you’ve completed every single one of our top nine LEGO cars to build right now, and your lockdown to-do list is worryingly full of gardening and banana bread.
Time to shelve it, because Ducati and LEGO have teamed up to turn the awesome Panigale V4 R into this ridiculously mean-looking Technic model.
As with all LEGO Technic stuff it’s properly detailed. There’s a faithful recreation of that WSBK-born 998cc V4 engine (which in real life makes a ridiculous 234bhp at 15,500rpm), and even a working 2-speed gearbox.
Then there’s moving suspension and steering as well as front and rear disc brakes, a kickstand, windscreen and full dashboard. It may only have two wheels, but it’s properly cool isn’t it?
The model itself is made up of 646 bricks and is 32cm long, 16cm tall and 8cm wide. The only issue? It won’t actually go on sale until June 1, when you’ll be able to pick one up from the Ducati Online Shop for €59.99. For now, enjoy that banana bread.
