WTF Car? news - And the winner is... - 2009

So the public have spoken. Well, you lot have anyway – and we now have a winner in our WTF Car? Awards. Stand up Ssangyong, your moment is now.

Last week we lined up eleven contenders to point our disapproving fingers at, most of them snotboxes that manufacturers really have no excuse for. And the ‘hideous, crap-to-drive and terrifyingly flimsy’ Rodius has won the public vote as our worst car of the year. Ouch.

But the pain is the point of WTF?s. It’s not that we like giving crap cars a kicking. We really don’t. We just think there’s no reason for rubbish cars to be inflicted on the unwary public – and we feel as let down as everyone should.

So here’s the list of WTF?s again in full, listed in order of the public vote. And manufacturers: if you make one of these cars, listen up. Get it sorted, or we’ll be back after you next year.
