It's the £300k Vanquish ‘One of Seven'

Published: 01 Jun 2015

This, ladies and gents, is the Aston Martin Vanquish One of Seven. Or more specifically, one of seven One of Sevens.

Still with us? This is the first car from an extremely limited run of bespoke Vanquishes, all produced by Aston’s 'Q' personalisation division and all carrying the same spec.

That equates to satin black paint, carbon fibre trim just about anywhere it will fit, and some rather lovely machined carbon Aston Martin Badges.

Inside, meanwhile, there is quilted leather aplenty and some unsubtle ‘One of Seven’ embossing on the headrests. Mechanically it’s the same as all other Vanquishes, though with a 568bhp V12 and 201mph top speed, that’s nothing to fuss about.

If you’re wondering what it’s all about, the mini-series of Astons has been commissioned by Markus Storck. He’s the founder and boss of bicycle maker Storck Bikes, and this project isn’t the first of its type: he’s previously commissioned a One of Seven McLaren 650S as well as exceedingly special septuples of Rolex watches, sunglasses and bottles of plonk.

The idea is that Storck keeps the first one for himself, before offering out the remaining six to friends. Not for free, mind you: they must buy the things themselves.

They’ll need to dig deep, too: while no asking price has been made public, insiders suggest you can bet on the £193,000 of a regular Vanquish swelling by at least 50 per cent. Perhaps more.

Would you like to be Storck’s friend? And if you are already, what would you like him to commission next?
