Brabus unveils EV12
This is the new EV12 from Brabus. And, according to the German tuners, it's the fastest four-seat rag-top... in the world.
First, the numbers: 6.3-litre V12, 778bhp, 811lb ft, 0-60 in 3.7 seconds, 231mph top speed, £421,510 to buy.
Second, the engine. Brabus bored out a Benz V12 from 5.5 litres to 6.3, added a stroker crank, larger pistons, high-flow cylinder heads, a couple of hot camshafts, bigger turbos, wider inlet manifold and four water-to-air intercoolers. Oh, and an enormous stainless-steel exhaust.
Most of the underneath was thrown away and replaced with beefed-up, redesigned tech, too. But as you can see when Jeremy drove the Brabus s Biturbo Roadster, there's a good chance it'll be an ENORMOUS handful on the road.
Still, even if absolute power does corrupt absolutely, we wouldn't kick it out of the garage.
