The latest Lego Technic set is this mega BMW M Division bike
BMW’s hardcore M 1000 RR gets the Lego Technic treatment
Lego’s plan to turn every single car and bike ever made into a ridiculously detailed DIY scale model continues apace. Personally, we can’t wait for the Lego Technic x Kia Picanto collaboration.
Before that, though, there’s a 1:5 scale model of BMW’s first ever M-badged motorbike – the M 1000 RR.
It’ll go on sale on 1 January 2022 and is bigger than you might think. Put the 1,920 pieces together correctly and you’ll end up with something that’s over 45cm long and features a working three-speed gearbox, proper front and rear suspension and a dashboard with three different display options.
There’s a little paddock stand and a pit board included in the set too, plus a gold-coloured chain and those wild M graphics to match the real bike.
What do we think, folks?
