Alfa GT Cloverleaf news - Coming up clover - 2008
In a final bid to inject a bit of life into its ageing GT coupe, Alfa has released a Quadrifoglio Verde edition. Or Cloverleaf, to us Englishers.
Traditionally the symbol of hot Alfas, the clover last appeared on the 164 QV... but fear not, the GT hasn't exactly been turned into a fearsome trackday tool.
Essentially a run-out special, the Cloverleaf GT gets an uprated version of Alfa's 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine, with power up 20bhp to a nice round 170bhp.
More excitingly, it gets a limited slip diff and a mysterious 'sport' button, which should help out with the GT's, erm, relaxed handling.
Other standard equipment includes a nice set of 18-inch wheels, leather and the ever-overstated red brake calipers.
The little green badge will cost you a touch under 22 grand... with car attached.
