Alfa Giulietta news - Video: Giulietta gets teasy - 2010

We won't officially see the Giulietta - Alfa Romeo's 147 replacement - until the Geneva show in March.

But a teasy promotional video for the Giulietta has surfaced on the internet, giving us a decent look at the Golf-sized hatch.

The Giulietta will be launched this summer in the UK as a five-door - no three-door variant is planned - with a range of all-turbocharged engines ranging from a 120bhp petrol to Alfa's 170bhp diesel. We should see a 230bhp ‘Cloverleaf' hot hatch variant some time in 2011.

For now, though, take a look at the weirdly overlit promo video and let us know what you think of the Giulietta. A quick warning: if you're not a fan of flashing lights, or you've just downed a treble espresso, you might want to steer clear - the editing could be described as ‘schizophrenic'.

Oh, and watch out for our favourite subtitle, around the 25-second mark. 'I'm your Alfa Ego.' Surely that's what they should have called the Giulietta? The Alfa Ego: it's got a good ring to it...
