Rolls-Royce Phantom review
Buying
What should I be paying?
Assessing a Phantom by how long its warranty is, in which tax band it sits and how many dealers there are would be as pointless as seeing how much flat-pack furniture you can put in a Ford GT or 911 GT3. If you can afford a Rolls, you can probably also afford to hire someone to drive it.
Paying for things as dull as road tax is probably handled by a member of staff, too. Regardless, expect running costs to be a smidge higher than an Audi A8, BMW 7 Series or Mercedes S Class. You wouldn't want it any other way.
Speccing one is limited only by your imagination, and once you've decided whether to have a regular one (£360,000) or an extra-long one (£432,000), the rest is up to your personal taste.
