Radical SR3 review
Interior
What is it like on the inside?
What, you think Radical’s totally mad? Of course not. This is its road-going model, so of course it has creature comforts. Like a handbrake. A rear foglight. Indicators... yes, you get those. The interior is actually pure single-seater, complete with a baffling central instrument readout which displays more vital information than even Messers Vettel and Hamilton would ever need. It’s as powerful as the heater is rubbish.
The seats are not that supportive, but the harness straps you in tight and the suede steering wheel is lovely to hold. Your passengers will hate you though. Whenever the weather is inclement, you’ll hate yourself. No, nothing recreates the race car experience for the road more faithfully than this. Even the term ‘on the inside’ is incorrect, given the lack of roof.
